7. Daniel Lónyai 's
expectations of
peacecamp 2006
Dear Evelyn,
I'm sending you my answers for the questions, and I hope I'm not late,
1:My expectations? Well, the ony thing I really hope is to meet and chat with others from eastern cultures, because both Israel and Palestina have been mysterien for my a little bit. A lot of conversations, chats, jokes and fun should happen there, while getting to know each other:)
2:I would like to take home some knowledge about the cultures mentioned above, and a lot of memories about the people I will meet in the camp.
3:All I can contribute to the camp is the brief history of my family, information about my country and lifestyle, habits, etc., and myself. And that whatever we will do in the camp, I will do my best!

Yours sincerely,
Daniel

5. Balázs Rigó's
expectations
of peacecamp 2006
1. I have a blurry image about what will or should happen in the camp. I wouldn’t like to have great expectations because if they don’t come true I will be just disappointed. Anyway, I'm sure it can't be a bad experience as there will be a bunch of people at my age and we'll have a good time. Spending more than a week together doing programs such as discussions and workshops will be enough to know each other and make lasting friends.

2. I hope I will keep in touch with the others after the camp. Also, I expect to take home good memories and new ways of looking at other people.

3. I’m going to introduce my country and culture, for example, by taking part in our dance. And I think during discussions I can look at things from an objective, outer aspect and share my opinions.

As the date approaches I’m looking forward to the camp more and more. Hope it arrives soon.

Yours sincerely,

Balázs Rigó

3. Veronica Lion's
expectations of
peacecamp 2006
veronica

1.
I really try very much not to have any or at least not very high
expectations of anything, thus of the peacecamp, because I have already
made the experience that it will come differently anyways. But from the
raught picture I have drawn automatically in my mind I would expect all
participants, including me, to be open for everything new, to try before
saying no and to tolerate different opinions. I really hope I to corresond
with these expectations and I will definitely try to do so.
I don't really know exactly what will happen there or how the peacecamp and
the program look like in detail, but I hope there will be enough
possibilities to get to know other people and to have fun.
My highest expectation for the camp is to have fun getting to know each
other!!

2.
Of course I wish to take home a lot of nice impressions I will never
forget, but also things I found out about myself throughout the camp,
memories of people I had fun with and hopefully some contacts to them to
stay in touch.

3.
As I already said, I will try everything to act according to my
expectations towards others. This means that I will try to participate in
everything that is done before I judge it, I will try to respect other's
opinions the same way I want to be respected by them and generally I will
try to be as open for everything as I can. All in all I want to treat other
people the same way I want to be treated.
