peacecamp, 00:19h
My name is Mogyoróssy Edina, my nickname is Dina. I was born in Budapest (Hungary) on the 25th of October in 1990. I study at the Saint László Secondary School in the high maths and English class. I’m very interested in maths, and that’s my favourite subject.
In my freetime I play volleyball twice a week at my school, I take a lot of photo about my friends and events. I play on a guitar, I surf on the Internet, and I usually go out with my friends in the weekends. I like comedy films, and rock music. My favourite bands are Papa Roach, and System of Down. I like reading books, at last I read The Da Vinci Code.
I want to go this camp, because I like to meeting strange peoples, and I think that’s a good chance to test my English knowledge. That’s a real andventure in abroad with my friend, Timi.
Timi&Dina
Timea Nagy
I'm Tímea Nagy and I'm 14 years old. I live in Budapest, Hungary.
I study at Szent László Secondary School. I have just learn here for
half a year, but I like this school very much. At school there is
possibility to do a lot of sports. For example: football, volleyball,
basketball, field hockey and so on.
I play volleyball twice a week. I think it's very exciting, I offer for
evryone to try it.
Instead of playing volleyball I like walking and playing with my dog,
meeting with friends and certainly listening music. I like rock music, but
I haven't got a favourite band.
I'm looking forward summer to go to the camp. I think it will be
interesting to know a lot of people comming from different countries.
I hope, it will be a good experience.
Kleiner Dénes
My name is Kleiner Dénes, and my friends also call me Dénes. I am 18 years old. I study at Szent László Grammar School. I have got a sister, who studies at the University of Physical Education. We train five times a week at a nearby athletic club.
I live with my family in the greenbelt of Budapest. It is the best place for me, because there are many forests and parks where I like staying.
I love the nature mostly the birds.
Besides, I like the arts, but I can not understand the modern arts (like Picasso’s paintings). I also like good stories, and films, but I do not care about who actes in it – anyway, I always forget who played in this or that film.
I like the Black Eyed Peas type of phunk and the most kind of rock music (punk, newmetal…but I hate the deathmetal). If I am dead tired I always listen to classical music.
My hobbies are reading books, walking in the nature, playing computer, going out with my friends and doing sports.
Anna Beniczky
I’m Anna Beniczky. I’m 18 years old, and I’m in the 4th class of the Szent László High School in Budapest. I like studying languages: now I’m going to a Hungarian-Italian bilingual class, and in my old school I studied German for 8 years. I’m very interested in international affairs, I’d love to be a journalist, to report for a newspaper…But my mother is journalist and she doesn’t want me to be one So maybe I’m going to study diplomacy or something like that.
In my freetime I love being with my friends, like everybody of my age, having parties, going to cinema, theatre, listening to music. I like any kind of music, except techno and hard rock.
I also like animals, mostly horses, I did voltige (gymnastics on the horse) but I had to finish it because I didn’t have enough time I also did horse-riding for a time. Now I’m playing volleyball in the team of the school and we are quite succesfull.
I love travelling, I’m interested in knowing other cultures. I’ve never been to Africa and Asia, but I’d love to visit them. I’m fortunate because I inherited this love for travelling from my parents, so we travel a lot together in Europe. I like mediterranean countries the most, like Spain, Portugal and Italy.
I also like reading, novels and poems too. I like the conteporary hungarian poetry.
Balázs Rigó
I was very happy when my classmates suggested that I should be a person to go to an international student meeting. It is a good opportunity to get to know other countries and make friends with people at the same age from foreign countries. Also, it will be a great time for me to practice my English.
Speaking about me, I'm a 17-year-old boy and I live in the outskirts of the Hungarian capital (not in Budapest, but in Gyömrő). It's in forty-minutes' time from the city where I go to school and learn English.
In my free time I like being together with friends, going to parties and, of course, almost everything that teenager boys usually do (going to cinema, reading, watching TV, surfing on the Net, etc.). I'm also very keen on sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, although I do neither regularly.
All in all, I really look forward to this event in the summer, and hardly can I wait so much until that.
Andrew Varga or Ciccio
My introduction
Hi, my name is Andrew Varga but everyone calls me Ciccio which means something like chubby in italian. It was given to me by one of my italian homies, in the first year of the school. I am eighteen and I’m still learning in a bilingual class italian-hungarian, in the Szent László High School of Budapest (the capital of Hungary). I live in this city too, and I would like to work and live here after my studies too. If you don’t know anything about our country I write down some general fact. Hungary is a democratic republic which was born about a.c.1000.The offical language is the hungarian. We have a long history with a lot of war and conquer, so i can’t write everything. We’re a really proud nation, sometimes maybe too proud, but everyone has mistakes, but generally we’re happys and quite frindlys. I will go to this camp because I am quite interested in the Europian Union’s sistem, and could be nice to meet with students from the other part of Europe.
Some world about me; I’ve brown hair, I’m quite talkative and i like go out with my friends, I like going rock or blues concerts.
I hope we will have a good time together.
Bye Ciccio
Emőke Rácz
My name is Emőke Rácz, I'm 17. I study at the Saint Ladislas Secondary School. I go to 11th class, biology-chemistry section.
I'd like to be a guide so I'm going to stay at my school for a year after the final examination, to study guiding. Then I might go to university or college to learn English and Italian.
I like foreign languages, and I like translating lyrics, and watching films in English. In my spare time I usually meet my girl-friends, sometimes we go to the cinema, or to some party. I prefer the rock music and I play the guitar.
I'd like to go to this camp to practice English, especially speaking. I hope it'll bring the development of my English.
George Féder
My name is George Féder. I am a seventeen years old boy from Hungary. I am a student in the Szent László Secondary School in Budapest. I live together with my father, my mother and my brother at home. My brother is twenty-four. In my freetime I really like doing some sports. I like almost every sport but my favourite one is taekwon-do. It is a korean martial art. After school I take part in taekwon-do trainings twice or three times a week. I have done this sport for four years. And I like going out with my friends as well, e.g.going to parties, going tot the cinema or playing billiards… In summer I usually go to camps and probably abroad. Two years ago in summer I was in England with the school and than in october we were in Belgium with the class in a student exchange program. I really enjoy meeting new people mostly from other countries and other cultures. So I am looking forward to take part in this camp and meet other students. I hope we will have a good time together and I think we will find a lot of new friends.
Leila Abdulwahid
My name is Leila Abdulwahid. I am 16 years old I’m studying in st.Laszlo high school in Budapest. I like go there ’cause loads of nationality mixed in it.
I have an eloer sister and an eloer brother. My father’s from Baghdad, Iraq, but I was born here in Hungary. My mother is hungarian.
I would like to take part in this camp. Because I was brought up in multicultural area. From my efferly ages I’m interested in other nationals cultures.
In my opinion immigrant people make a country more interesting and colourful I’have been camps like this several times and I made great friends I hope it will be the same way in this summer.
In the future I really want to study in a foreing university, and I would like to be a turkish-hungarian literature translator.
Daniel Lonyai
I’m Daniel, a 16 years old boy from Budapest, Hungary. I’m studying in Szent László Secondary Grammar School, in the special English class (known as “B”), and it’s my second year here.
I’m interested in various kind of things, but mainly in sports. I like swimming, running, playing tennis, table tennis, dancing and bowling, but I can rarely do them. What I’m really fond of is archery. I first started it when I was 10 years old, and we were on holiday at lake Balaton, and a master archer taught me how to shoot for a week. Soon after we got home, I stopped it. I still like it, so I started it again a couple of months ago, and I’m a member of an archer sport club called RIE. If I’m at home I like reading very much. I mainly read novels of Wilbur Smith, books about animals and photos about nature, and about esotericism and natural healing. I think natural healing is very interesting, not because they say marvellous things about them, I experienced the effect of it on myself. Nowadays I usually hang around with my friend, playing card or on computer, etc. Once I was keen on rock and heavy metal, but I got trough and now I’m listening to rock from the 1980’s and 1990’s, but I’m not a big fan of any group or singer, I just listen to music sometimes.
I’m looking forward to read about you, and to meet you at the Peace camp!
